Bumpit

Leave it to my Mom to want a Bumpit. If you haven't seen these on TV commercials, they are a plastic headband-like thing to help you achieve the perfect poof. Well, Kath has continued to talk about how she wanted one of these so badly, so finally I told her I would try to find her one. Then I ended up seeing it advertised on a Walgreens sign that "BUMPITS ARE HERE!"...but when I went back and to three other locations I could not find them! Last night while my parents were visiting, we came upon a Walgreens with the same advertisement and sure enough they were there, but sold out of all colors except blonde. Of course I got her them and we tried them out when we got home. They are hillarious and a total sham. My hair is way too thin for them and barely covered up the plastic contraption...the only one that worked for me was the tiny Bumpit used to achieve a Yorkie poof in front. Kath worked for nearly an hour to get it to work for her and she thought it did, but halfway through church I could see the Bumpit through her hair! It was so hillarious!

So, if you have been thinking of getting this crazy Bumpit, just invest in a good teasing come and Aquanet...it will achieve the same bumpaliciousness!
