Tomorrow is the first day of OCTOBER and that makes me very excited. Now if only the months could stop at October and then repeat back to spring, then summer, I would be happy. I am not looking forward to the colder times soon at hand. However, October is one of my favorite months. I think it is the teacher in me, but I LIVE for Halloween (minus the pagan part) and am just so jazzed to have my first trick-or-treaters this year...we will have to buy bags by the dozen this year at CostCo due to the insanely large number of kiddos in our neighborhood. I was going to make homemade candied apples, but I don't think I could keep up with the demand.
I will be decorating the porch soon with pumpkins, corn husks, and all things FALL. Pictures to come...!

I too love Oct. We are getting ready for Allie's big class party . . . hayride, big ole fire, roasted, marshmallows, fun fall games. Wish you could be here to assist. We love and miss you!
