Birthday Wishes

Today marks the second birthday we haven't been able to celebrate with my Gram here on earth, but we celebrate today with her in heaven. It's hard to believe another year has passed, and mixed emotions still flood my heart. Oh how we wish we were able to do something so simple as to sit out on their back porch, overlooking the golf course, just relaxing and enjoying one another's company on a hot summers night (even after we begged to just sit inside, in the cool AC) to celebrate, most likely with an ice cream roll or turtle pie. Little moments like this one are so engrained into my memory and are so regular, but so special. Such a moment seems so simple, but I'm sure any of us who knew her would give everything for just one more of these evenings.
On this beautiful July 11th, enjoy your loved ones and the simple things in life. Happy Birthday Gram!

Oh Sarah,
Thank you for your sweet sweet remembrance of Gram. She loved you sooo much, and so do we :). I spent today with Aunt Peg Aunt Fran & Aunt Dottie--we went to the cemetery and left some beautiful roses (thanks to Aunt Peg--they were PERFECT beautiful pink roses) and then we went to Krekels for lunch--memories--then I topped off my lunch with a hot fudge sundae...and a lump in my throat! We are so lucky to have such sweet memories of birthday celebrations and just regular spur of the moment times that Gram and Bobob always made so special for each and every one of us. It's hard to believe that this would be Gram's 77th birthday...she is all around us sweetheart...in every precious reminder of how we should love.
Love you

We all love and miss Gram dearly. Maggie just said this week she would love to go to the zoo with Gram for a visit like they used to do on a regular basis. We are thankful for the memories!
