The past two days I have stayed home from school due to asthma related sickness (i.e. horrible cough and wheezing) and while it's boring staying on the couch all day, I'm lucky to have good company in the mean time.
Sophie and Oliver love to snuggle and love blankets-so they are in doggie heaven. Somehow they manage to both fit on my side of the couch (on the blanket of course!). Sophie curls up by my feet and Oliver lays by my side with his head on my chest. When he gets in just the right spot he makes little "sighs" of content. Very cute. I think they are both enjoying their days out of their kennels.
A funny thing happened yesterday while I was laying on the couch. Sophie NEVER leaves the couch while I'm on it. She loves it so much and would probably stay there all day if she could. I even got them new bones while picking up my prescriptions yesterday and she had nothing to do with it. If laying on the couch were a sport, she would be champion. So, here Sophie and I are, dozing off while watching TV and I hear a noise coming from the nearby hall. It sounded like the hall closet door was moving. I just ignored it, half asleep. However, I kept hearing this noise and finally went to go see what was happening, since Oliver was no longer laying with us. What I saw was hillarious. Oliver had nudged open our sliding hall closet doors with his nose and had his head stuffed down into the dog food bag and was having a second breakfast, tail wagging of course. He looked very pleased!

OMG that Ollie. He is one mischievous dog!!
I'm glad you have your buddies to keep you company Sarah. xoxoxo
Hope you feel better soon! I had to laugh at the "sigh of content" because Jax does that too! When I hear the sigh I know he isn't going anywhere anytime soon and sure enough he falls asleep within seconds of that little noise! It is so cute!
Too funny about Oliver! I had Jax on Eukanuba when I first got him....he hated it and I ended up going with a holistic brand called Wellness. He loves it!! Since it is all natural, he doesn't need to eat as much as the Euka. and doesn't go #2 as much which is worth the little extra money in my eyes!
Get well soon, love!
