The weather has really made our rosebud bushes bloom! We have three in the back of our house and at least three in the front...I guess it is fitting since that is the name of our street! And while I wish they were white, they are pretty to look at. I plan to trim some off and put them in a vase around the house :)
This weekend is the Indy 500 and the festivities are happening! We are having a little get together with some friends tomorrow at our house and I decided to get into the spirit complete with lots of checkered flags. I got into the spirit today because we had the Kindy500 at our school this morning. The whole kindergarten as a grade level competes in a Big Wheel race called the Kindy 500. It is the cutest darn thing you will ever see...pictures and more details to come!

Are you in the family Indy pool??? The tradition for years was gathering @ Aunt Betty and Uncle Bruce's house with all the aunts uncles and cousins for the day. Fine eating...probably beer...also did this at the farm? We'll have to check with the aunts on that one. Glad you're in the proper Hoosier spirit! Love ya
