Go Home Already!

Howard and I have become very annoyed by this Kristy Lee Cook, Idol hopeful, that continues to somehow stick around week after week! I have sworn up and down each week that it would be her curtain call, however each time I've been wrong! And last night, just to put salt in the wound, she sang "Proud to be an American" by Lee Greenwood. I about died as this was announced and of course out she came and sang it. It wasn't a terrible performance, however it was at about the same level of a county fair queen and come on, is that the best song choice she could pick? A bit corny if you ask me. Simon was right by saying she made a "clever song choice", because who on national television would criticize that song without soon facing being called un-American and more. I'm guessing tonight she will be yet again "safe" for another week, and someone who is more talented than her will be given the boot due to her weird trance on America. Come on people!
