(Late) Weekend Report

This past weekend my parents came up to celebrate Howard's birthday and to meet Oliver. We started Friday night off with a relaxing evening, I made dinner...Howard's favorite, chicken enchiladas and for dessert-cheery cherry cheescake! The next day we ran around a bit and then Howard's family came up to join the celebration at Mitchel's Fish Market for dinner. It was quite the fiasco, because of course I had a suprise planned for Howard that took quite the effort. I secretly purchased a grill for him, from the Wickersham's, Hartwell's, and I, days before and had it assembled at Lowe's, and planned to pick it up the night of his birthday party. So to pull this off, I lied (small one!) and said that I forgot to pick up the cake so that Dad and I would go grab it and meet everyone at the restaurant. Howard, too excited to go eat at his favorite place didn't bat an eye. So off Dad and I went to Lowe's to pick up the grill, brought it back to the house, loaded it inside, put a bow on it, and back to the restaurant we went! Needless to say, I was very excited for the dinner to be over so that he could see his suprise! When we got home he walked in the door and his jaw dropped-he was shocked! YAY! It was so fun and I too will benefit from this present :) Happy Birthday Howard, 25! OLD MAN!
