The Grays

I realized I haven't reported on my Gray Babies here in awhile, but there isn't much to report as you can see from the above photos. Summer is warm and that makes for LAZY dogs, that are very un-mobile. Oliver goes outside for literally one minute and is already panting and drooling. They prefer the comforts of the AC, fans, and ice cubes. Ridiculous, I'm aware. I just had to snap these photos today of them, relaxing and living it up in the lap of luxury. Oliver looked so sweet next to Gram's throw. My new favorite picture of him.
I finally was able to get completely unpacked today and most laundry done which makes me feel better about my life. I can't stand my house being a mess, with piles of stuff everywhere. Call it the clean freak in me, whatever, I can't function. However, after I had mopped all of the floors, Oliver needed to go outside...aka chase a bird or squirrel. He thought it would be fun of course to run along the back fence, which is a sort of makeshift ditch that collects a LOT of water after a rain...which we've had plenty of, so as you can imagine-he sooner than later wanted to come back inside with wet paws and water splashes all up his legs and underbelly. I had fun taking a bucket outside filled with Dawn dish soap, like he was an oil spill victim, and scrubbing him down. It was evident that neither of us enjoyed this event! Of course now, he is back snoozing in the corner of our couch and Sophie is snoring on her bed. The life.
