I took a gander down our street today in search of a Kroger (yah, boo-I usually don't shop there but today I was desperate) and then like a sight unseen, there stood a beautiful building with crisp kelly green words on the front stating FRESH MARKET. What is this place I curiously thought? Well, I was in need of groceries, and surely this place calling itself a market had food within its doors. As I walked inside my heart nearly skipped a beat, this place was fab. Merely feet from the door stood beautiful orchids just ready to be purchased and a whole slew of other unique floral options practically begging to become an arrangement on my dining room table.
However, I knew that I had a list which I must stick to, pshh. I ended up getting a few things and will definitely go back. It was a quaint, dimly lit, Italian music playing, HEAVEN that I am so thankful is less than 5 minutes from my doorstop. It is slightly comparable to Wild Oats, however there's something more charming about this Fresh Market place...maybe it's the fact that the checkout counters have a piney lattice around them with hanging baskets of plants and flowers. It just feels like you're out shopping in Italy...however, it was a sad sad reality check to walk out of the automatic doors into the brutally harsh temps of this lovely Indiana winter weather. Is there a Fresh Market near you friends?

Youv'e got to be kidding...one more reason to move to Indy! Fresh Market was my favorite store when I lived in FL. They have great and fresh meat that even I cannot mess up. I have to warn you though, it's very pricy. I usually get the "every-day" grocery in the regular store and only "nice and extra" things from there.
Thanks for your note today, I will definitely check into that school - I actually called them last week but did not get a chance to go visit yet.
Yes, I did notice the raised prices...I too get my everyday items at Wal-Mart and my meats, breads, cheeses, etc. at the good places :) Let me know how the school is!
