Mellow Yellow

I've never really liked the color yellow, nor did I ever think I would want to decorate my home with it-until recently. Well now I'm obsessed and want all things yellow. I saw some yellow print throw pillows and decided that I wanted to use that as an accent color in our living room. Not a super bright yellow, more like a sunset yellow. I also noticed that one of our paintings in the living room actually has the burnt yellow color as well, perfect! So then, you can imagine my excitement when the new Pottery Barn arrived and they too have picked up on my love for yellow, calling it the spring trend. I swear, Pottery Barn needs to get their own ideas and stop stealing mine! Haha, totally kidding. However, perhaps thinking in such cheery colors will make spring come a little quicker? One can only hope.
