The Secret

While watching Oprah this afternoon, I became very interested in today's segment. It was all circling around a book a very bright lady had written involving living your life positively and sort of foreshadowing what is to come. Basically she says that if you think positive thoughts and positive outcomes for your future-it will happen. I feel that so many people feel sorry for themselves when things are not going quite their way and this really hinders things happening in your life, and hello-I've been there too, but I think one of the things I've found out lately is that I need to do that as little as possible because it gets you nowhere! If you continue to focus your attention and have drive to getting what you want, I believe it will be yours. Now ok, maybe that sounded like a fortune cookie, but I honestly feel the truth in that statement. This lady on Oprah talks a lot about giving the universe what it wants to give back to you, etc...but I believe this is all accomplished through talking with God and the power of prayer, in my opinion. Just today I was reading in my devo, "When the crisis arises, you realize that things cannot touch you as they used to." Amen to that. While times are tough and life may just really be in the pits, it is during those times that you become untouchable through Christ and see your dreams unfold! Check out the book!
