Preparing for the Arrival

In preparation for a new Wickersham Weim (catchy don't you think?) I have been doing a bit of shopping at one of my favorite locations, World Market. Sophia and Oliver will have coordinating blankets, only hers will be in red, while his in blue. These colors of course go along with our bedroom color scheme (too much time on my hands perhaps?) and Sophie's current doggie bed. Sophie absolutely loves her throw and will only lay on it specifically and enjoys being covered up with it while she sleeps. (Yes, since she sleeps on a bed on the floor, she gets chilly! Would you like to lay uncovered at night?) I also purchased the matching bed pictured for little Ollie in red, minus the wickerness. One thing left to purchase: camo collar for the little man. Yes, he's going to be a hunter with Howie-he'll go off to school to train when he's closer to a year. It will be so fun to see him do what the breed is really meant to do. Sophie will just continue to be the pampered one, somehow I don't think she'll mind?

haha you know i'd LOVE to have a puppy...however in this tiny apt, having a rather large dog such as a weim would be virtually impossible. and if brent decides he wants to be on board with me and break the "no pets" rule, we'll probably just go with a cat because they're quiet and don't have to be let out to go potty and no one will spot us breaking the rules! anyway, that was far too long of an explaination of why we will probably pass on your puppy offer--but i do appreciate it :)

Boy what stylish dogs you will have! I love the name Oliver...great choice. Who's idea was it? I'm glad to hear that Sophie will still be the pampered one. :-)

Cannot wait to meet the puppy! Hey Sarah, I think you might enjoy this blog, this sweet lady also has a daughter who has peanut allergy. She made Noel a muff for her epi pen in the winter!
