His plan, not mine

Wow. Everything happens for a reason is all that I can say. Let me rewind.

Last night, at 7 pm, after biting all of my finger nails off while waiting to hear about the job, I got a phone call from the principal hailing my praises, but then telling me that she had to offer the position to someone with kindergarten experience. How typical! However, she was very complimentary and told me that she would definitely pass my name on to other principals in the district. Of course, I was devestated, hadn't all things aligned for this one moment in time? So it seemed.

Well, let me tell a part of the story that I left out. My friend Jill, who had interviewed for a first grade job, didn't get the job, then given a maternity leave in kindergarten, and was yesterday re-offered a first grade job due to some last minute re-shuffling. SO, now her kindergarten maternity leave was up for grabs and I emailed the principal (who I had worked for first semester) as soon as I heard the news! This morning I got a call and he not only offered me the maternity leave, but wants me to interview for a kindergarten position split between two schools, tonight. This isn't exactly my first choice, BUT I would be contracted. SO either way, I will have a kindergarten position, IN CARMEL! Hooray!

So, things may not always work out how WE plan, but they do always work out, and once again I'm taken care of! Thank you for all of your prayers...I will keep you posted as my job hunt just continues to become more interesting!

Good Morning!
You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
Reminds me of a quote I have tucked away:
"Life is what happened to you while you were making other plans."
We'll stay tuned!!!
Love you~
