Sweet Home Indiana

This past weekend we went home to Illinois to see my family and just relax. It was nice, minus the fact that those little Kindergarten boogers got me sick, which really didn't make my trip as fun as it could have been. I had the worst sore throat I've EVER had which soon turned in to a runny nose and me becoming a sneeze machine. Mom and Dad were good to take care of me, but no such luck. Today however, I went to the doctor to get on some meds, amen!

We enjoyed eating out a lot and getting to see the family. It was so great to all be together again, especially at one of our family favorites, Monicals! (P.S. We are getting one right down the road on Meridian Street! I couldn't have been more excited to see this!)

The dogs also had a hard time on this trip home. They were pacing all over the place and were just restless. They got us up early in the morning and were just a bother. As soon as we got home they were back to their old hound dog selves...laying right by the couch on their beds and sleeping through the alarm clock. What will I do with them? Luckily Howard just took Oliver on a two mile bike ride, he needed it.

Today was a great day back at school beside the fact that I sound like the boogie monster with my scratchy voice, of course Kindergartners will love you no matter what.

Here are some pictures from the weekend....have a great week everyone!

Me and my "sisters"...Love you girls!

Aww come on, you shouldn't shame your own home town that you grew up in. I bet all the "square rats" even go there. :-)

It was wonderful to see you two :).Love the Pottery Barn ideas...every now I say to Matt...have what you want...but love what you have. :) I have had the same comforter for 13 YEARS--luckily I really liked it when I bought it!!!! We are getting ready for a change, although you can just hear Uncle Mike--he likes the old stuff! I feel change coming on :). Have a great week with your kiddos--we missed not seeing Sophie and Oliver. Hugs from us--hope you're feeling better.
