If we had room in our little home, this would be third dog we would own. (And yes, I'm aware that sort of rhymed, my kindergartners would SO point that out!) A Neopolitan Mastiff!
We saw a little puppy like this last night downtown and I nearly died. It was the cutest chunk of hanging skin I had ever seen. His paws were nearly twice the size of Oliver's and he was so cuddly. Mastiff's get HUGE, so if we ever end up having one of these, we will need a lot of land! They are the same colors as Weimaraner's, I guess that's what sparked my interest...

I can't believe how much they do look like weimaraners. I think you better concentrate on little kiddies in the future--no more doggies....we love the ones you have. :-)
I am with you on the Neopolitan Mastiff. I also saw a pup, a few years back, and was hooked! I looked up all kinds of info and was ready to proceed ~ but decided to cool a bit on the idea when I learned of the $$$. I believe they run close to $2K. They also, as with all very large dogs, have some hip issues and avg. life exp. is approx 7-8 yrs. I like my dogs to be around for a long time - can't handle that kind of turnover.
