We went home (Illinois) this weekend and had a great time! I will post more pictures later once my mom sends them to me of our family cookout we had on Saturday. It was so good to be with everyone that I miss seeing so much. My little cousins grow so fast-it definitely makes me wish they were closer. Mason now has BRACES? What? When did this happen! I just couldn't believe such events can so easily slip by me! ha! We missed Matt & Laura and Chris...M & L are expecting their baby soon and we talked a lot about how excited we all are. I think now we are just antsy and wanting her to arrive NOW-and I think it's safe to say Laura is on the same page as well.
On another note, Sophie is ready for the cooler weather to come I feel-like October...meaning HALLOWEEN! The girls were dressing up Muffy this weekend so I had to let Sophie participate too. She sat very still in this witch hat only for treats of course. Her nose is orange too in the picture-color coordinating to the hat because she got into something...naughty girl!
Also, everytime we go home we seem to be showered with gifts. My parents got us another item to go with our KitchenAid kitchen-a knife block! We had been wanting this and were so excited to see it waiting for us upon our arrival! Thanks P's! (We are currently running out of places on the counter to house all of our KitchenAid items, but we aren't complaining!)
