I spent a long time the other day in several stores looking (smelling) for the perfect candle and was completely unsuccessful. I found one at Hobby Lobby, but it only smells up one room which isn't what our home needs. I have two hairy children running around that often times don't smell too lovely!

So, when we went to look at a house yesterday, upon walking in I was nearly knocked over by the wonderful smell coming from a candle they had been burning prior to the showing. The scent was very strong throughout the whole house and literally was still on my clothes when I left. I had also smelled this scent at my friend, Whitney's, house and really wanted to find it!

It ended up being a WoodWick candle and the scent is 'Amber Woods'. I have never been much of a floral or air freshenery scent kind of gals, so anything with undertones of vanilla, sandalwood, or rich, dark smells get my vote. I have never had a WoodWick candle before and was also impressed with how different it was than your average candle. Go figure-the name says it all, "wood wick"...the wick is literally wooden! It is neat and crackles as you burn it!

So if this wasn't a total plug for WoodWick candles, I don't know what is...but they rock and I doubt I will ever buy anything but from here on out! Let me know if you have any other favorite scents from this brand. Happy Smelling!
