We were hoping the house pictured below would be THE house...at the right price, right location, right size...but sadly it was not. It's super lovely and was brick all the way around. That makes me drool...I'm always thinking about those electric bills...haha! However, the neighborhood was a bit iffy...some homes were nice and well taken care of, while another home looks like it hasn't been cared for in 3 years. So we were first a bit miffed by that. Then when we go inside...HA. It was VERY nice, kitchen was amazing...granite, cherry-more than I could ask for. However, this place was a monster! 5 HUGE bedrooms and 4 bathrooms...we would get lost! The master bedroom was literally the size of our family room right now and the walk in closet the size of one of our guest rooms. We laughed out loud when we saw it. There were also a few updates that really needed to be done, like replacing the nearly 8 year old carpet...it had seen better days.
Phew, so while we feel lucky to have been able to look at such a nice home. We really don't have the people to pack it full yet or maybe-ever! I think I would feel as though I were living in a hotel, rather than a home! Howard really did like the pool table though, which was included!
We are off to look at one more home today that we really like...via the internet and a driveby (both can be tricky though)...so I'll keep you posted. We're praying to find something, but at the same time not going to jump on something because we have to. It pays to be picky! We learned that the hard way!

Cousin,
I know you already know this but just make sure the mortgage for the guy buying your place goes through. You don't want to be stuck with payments on two houses.
Praise God. We are excited for you. We will continue to be in prayer for this whole situation. Good thing you weren't hanging around being a beach bum in FL. The timing of all this would have not worked.
