A Very Hoppy Easter, Indeed!

Great news from our front...no we don't know if we got the house yet (all offers are paused to observe the Holiday)...but we discovered something very encouraging on this fine day.

When I got home, as a usual stalker of the home site, Mibor, I was looking again at homes in our area and price range and came across an interesting find! A home in the same neighborhood and nearly 3 doors down to the home we are offering on dropped their price to be the exact same as the property we are interested in. The good news? This home is DOUBLE the size...full basement...finished! While at this point we don't really need/want something that big, it means dollar signs for us. The home is the exact same floor plan/layout as the one we are currently interested in and has most all of the same features as the other one. But NOW the property we made an offer on is now very overpriced. Good deal for us, because now they should accept what we're offering or we are going to tell them we will be putting an offer in on the other home, that's a better deal! We are going to look at the other home tomorrow night and then deciding what we will counter the other home with..and where to go from there.

We still really like the property we made an offer on, but HELLO if we could get double the house for the same price, why would we not? Prasie God for this awesome opportunity to better afford our dream home. It touches my heart to have a God who is so involved in my life to work such great things in our favor. We can't wait to feel at home and open our home to all of you, in one of these two homes!

I will keep you all up to speed as soon as I know more...the saga continues! (I'm beginning to think I need a reality show haha)
