Well, I'm not sure Elton John would appreciate me titling my blog with lyrics from one of his songs when it's in regard to an undergarment my dog in heat has to wear...but anyways...Sophie has been in heat now for over a week and the undies weren't really cutting it, so it was time to take a trip to PetsMart. I knew they had things for dogs in heat, so it was the first place I ventured to. Well, I came home with her new blue jean diaper contraption, that is much easier to put on her than underwear and she seems to be less embarrased by it. However, I think they could have designed something a bit more stylish-a Burberry plaid style or a paisley print perhaps? Poor Sophie Marie, she just lays on her bed all day...I can't really take her outside much because she just pulls me every which way due to her urge to find a man (sickening). I've heard this can last up to a month...I'm praying hard for the opposite. I'm pretty sure Howard is totally grossed out by it all because he offers to take her outside now more, but always suggests I should be the one to put her diaper back on. Poor guy. After this heat experience, we have decided we are going to get a boy weim next because I'm not sure I want to deal with TWO dogs in heat...I've been talking to a lady to possibly breed Sophie with next summer and he's really a great looking doggie.
