Sophie turned ONE today...it's hard to believe just last year at this time we didn't even know that we'd soon be getting her. She has been such a blessing in our lives-always keeping us busy, making us laugh, and giving lots of love. Her tail is always wagging so much that her whole back end moves, she's just such a sweetie.
I didn't get around to making her a birthday cake since we'd been gone all weekend, but she got a special bone today-and of course, a birthday hat. At first she didn't like her hat, as you can tell from the picture...but then when we started singing "Happy Birthday" she seemed to brighten up. Now she's busy chewing away at her bone, where I'm sure she'll be all evening.

I cannot beleive it took a 2-year-old to notice there is a HELLO KITTY on her birthday hat!!!!
