Doggy Days of Summer

Sophia Annabelle-Marie Wickersham (is not only racking up a list of middle names), but is officially stamped ODD. Now in the past while putting on my Amazing Grace lotion by Philosophy after a shower, I have "let it go" when Sophie tries to lick the lotion off my legs or arms, and I've just pushed her off when she stands and wants me to put our Alba organics face lotion on her nose too-but today I had to come to terms with the fact that Sophie may be lotion obsessed. Usually when I tell her "no" or to "stop licking the lotion!" she understands and trudges back to her bed with a heavy plop, but today while putting on sunscreen, she would not back off! She wanted to lick it off my legs so badly I had to shut her out of the bathroom...! Even as I was walking around the house collecting things to put in my swim bag, she would sneak up behind me and give a quick lick before I caught her. What a weirdo is all I can say.
