Ok, so I'll admit lately I've been a little bit B-O-R-E-D with all my free time before I begin substituting next week (PTL) and I've been in the redecorating mood. Our apartment is very tricky when it comes to arranging furniture, so this is like the 4th time I've moved it...but possibly the last, for a few months (lets be honest). We are trying to prepare the room for the BIG SCREEN tv we're getting thanks to my parents, which will completely take up one wall! Howard always complains that our TV is too small, so he will be very thrilled. Last night we purchased a new clock and a room divider/screen from World Market, one of my favorite stores, and it's really making things look better! I've been getting all of my inspiration from the catalogues that come to me dutifuly every month through the mail...Ballard Designs, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, to name a few.

Specifically Pottery Barn has gotten it SO right lately with all of their neutral/natural designs. I'm very in to this look, keep it simple...as always. I am completely scared off by rooms that are focused on a thousand different colors and that have floral patterns EVERYWHERE, you know what I'm talking about. Here are a few rooms I'm just dying to incorporate into our little apartment and then someday home.

And in conclusion, this is what our backyard will someday look like. So be prepared for many occasions of fine dining and fun. (Not pictured: pool, boat, and another Weimaraner named Duke or Sport)

OMG Sarah.
A few months ago I saw the backyard patio senerio and told Faith " this is Sarah Matherly. This is her life." She didnt know who you were or anything about you, she thought I was crazy but I knew that was "your" backyard. SO FUNNY
I spoil myself with a few pieces of Pottery Barn furnitures and curtains when we moved, and Noel got a Crate and Barrel bookshelf! Worldmarket, defintely my taste especially they offer lower prices....do I dare dream of acquire a piece of restoration hardware?
Will pray that you two get a dream house, and I know you will make it into the most beautiful home.
I just got the Room&Board and Resoration Hardware catalogues in the mail. You should look into those! Very chic.
