Beautiful Weekend

Wow. What a beautiful weekend is all I can say. It was the kind of weather where if I actually could stand my hair blowing in the wind, I would definitely want to ride around in a convertible, top down. Both Saturday and Sunday were sunny and warm, a great start to spring!

Yesterday we went to see Cathy graduate from MedTech with her degree in massage therapy. She graduated with highest distinctions...a GPA of 3.98! Smart cookie! We are so proud of her for taking on this big challenge-but she did it and oh so well! Congrats! We all enjoyed a dinner at PF Changs afterward and a trip to Whole Foods to get smoothie ingredients which we went back to our house to make.

Today we enjoyed getting back to our church and spending the day outside! I set up shop on the back porch and got busy painting the rest of the kitchen cabinets. I even had to apply the SPF 45 for fear that I would be burned! I'm not kidding, it was hot in that sun and Lord knows I'm sunscreen crazy these days. We almost got them all painted and it is looking so much brighter in our kitchen! We're very excited to see the finished product...pictures to come soon. Hope you were all able to enjoy this blessing of wonderful weekend weather!

It was good to catch up on you again--CONGRATIONS TO CATHY!! She looks mighty cool in her graduation gown :). Also loved the black scarf on the yellow...I could use it for a yarn shop ad :)
On my way to book club--going going gone!
Love you and miss you!
