This past weekend we went home to Illinois...getting there was only slightly scary considering we drove through what could have become a tornado, thank the Lord it wasn't...but sunny skies greeted us as we pulled into the drive.
On Saturday, we had all of our family over plus Uncle Terry and Cheryl and Dave who joined the party. We were also suprised a few days prior, to hear that Matt, Laura, and Anna would be with us as well! What a great birthday suprise! We had such a fun day, with perfect weather and wonderful times with each other. Here are a few pictures from the day...
(This was Sophie after the party, she could barely keep her eyes open...or chew her bone. This is almost unheard of.)On Sunday, we went to the mall so that I could help Mom pick out some new clothes with her gift cards she received for presents. We found SO many things and were able to get just about all of them due to the fact that they were having a buy one, get one free sale! Now Kath will be styling every time you see her!
The dogs are settled back into their home and I'm already unpacked with laundry going...and it will be good to sleep in our own bed tonight. However, we already miss everyone and can't wait to see you all again-SOON!

Hey, love the pictures!! Nice to have a day at home to visit the blogs and chill a little. They're working on the granite AGAIN. Can't wait to have another family gathering in Omaha!! Wish I could jump in your Mom and Dads car this weekend. Working at the shop :)
