Poor Sophie and Oliver, the time has now come to get them spayed/neutered and little do they know it, but it's happening this Thursday! I have been struggling to find a vet I really like here in Carmel, because quite frankly, I don't know where to start! There are so many to select from, that my head is spinning! There is anything from a farm vet to a vet that has flat screen TV's in each kennel...I need something in the middle! I do take them currently to a place near our old apartment, but I don't think it is their forever vet home. So I searched for a place where I thought I might have them spayed/neutered at and got a quote from this particular vet. Well, lets just say to have them both done, it would be around $1,500! I about died, as I had not envisioned it costing this much. I mean I had been realistic (or so I thought) when budgeting around $500 for this...but nearly triple this? I had to get in research mode and find another alternative! Luckily my friend Jill (who is from the area) recommended a few places which charge drastically cheaper! The place where I ended up going with is a non-profit organization in Hamilton County and works in part with the Humane Society. I am thankful that we can help out such an organization and not have to break the bank (thank you Lord).

Soph and Ollie sure have a good mamma!! Can't wait to see the pics this weekend. :)
Holy Shizz. You can get that done in Champaign for $100.
i thought soph was going to have babies? we were going to get one! haha that's not true, but what happened to that?
My goodness, the photo scares me a bit.... you are such a wonderful mommy to them. but let me just say, yeah, vets are expensive. Have you checked into animal insurance? My friend in NYC got an unexpected bill when his cat got sick last year - 4000!!!
I know they will be just fine, kiss from auntie Jenny and baby Noel
