Sorry that I've been a stranger to the blog lately and this post won't be much more exciting. I was given access to my classroom to begin setting up and preparing for the little kiddos which will start coming next Monday. Yesterday, I got to my school at around 8 am, was whisked into my classroom, set my things down and took a quick look around, met with the district preschool coordinator, interviewed two candidates for the assistant position in my classroom with the principal, went to see some of the furniture in storage at a unit, and finally came back to do a bit of planning out how the room might look, etc. Whew. I was worn out and felt as though my head was spinning. Today was a bit better. I went in with more of a "plan" and started to see how things might develop. I finally got my desk set up with my comfy desk chair...still no computer which is needing to change ASAP-but worst of all no furniture. It was all supposed to come today but due to the treacherous storms here in Indy-the man didn't want to transport it today. Boo. So I'm kind of left at a stand still, because it's a little hard to plan out a classroom without the things that go inside of it. I made a trip to get a few things today which did help start to make it a bit more like a classroom, but it's still lacking. Tomorrow I'm going to head to the teacher store and get a few things (hopefully won't get myself in trouble with my love, Carson Dellosa) and probably just stay home tomorrow printing off and planning since there's not much more I can do until the furniture arrives. Keep me in your prayers so that I stay sane! I continue, even through the chaos, to feel so blessed for where I'm at and for this amazing opportunity!

I understand the furniture has arrived...hope the computer is close behind! Congratulations Sarah, on getting the job--we are very happy for you both. Wish we were going to see you on Sunday....I've just been looking at Christmas pictures...and wishing you were here. Have a good weekend~and be patient~things will fall into place! And as Gram would say to you "I'll say a little prayer."
Love you
I saw crosses in the sky yesterday-very comforting sign from our dear Gram!
