Sophie's Buddy

Well, Sophie finally got to meet her newest Weimaraner friend, Oakley! I kept telling her all morning that he was coming over and I frequently saw her curiously checking out the window. She was a little thrown off when a Girl Scout came by selling cookies earlier...she was thinking, is this Oakley? So finally when the doorbell rang for her, she was excited and of course barking in true Sophie fashion. Oakley is such a handsome guy and I was glad that they got along so well. Of course I think Sophie is a bit much for him with her crazy puppy ways, so hopefully next time she sees him she can calm down a bit. They enjoyed playing in the backyard on this wonderfully sunny afternoon and sadly I only took this one picture because they were running around the whole time! (Sophie is laying down, Oakley is with Howard-it was hard to tell them apart!) Now Sophie is sleeping on her little pillow and seems very tired. Thanks for the visit Jen and Oakley!
